PaperPlanes / Pankaj Tiwari & Nick Verstand

October 24 - 25, 2025 / MC93, Oleg Efremov

Who has the right to travel by plane and whose hopes are doomed to stay grounded ? Who decides ? Surrounded by 15,000 paper planes he made himself, Pankaj Tiwari
unfolds the injustices of international mobility in the age of global warming. With his new performance, the inter-disciplinary artist, originally from India and now based in Amsterdam, has invented a new participatory approach that brings the persistence of North/South dynamics to light. And paves the way for a more desirable future.
